The year the question moved from “is this real?” to “how do we scale it?”

NestGen ’23 ran for eleven hours on February 23, 2023, from 9:15 in the morning to 8:30 at night UTC. Sessions covered regulations, applications, docking stations, the state of the industry and the technology that makes flights beyond visual line of sight possible.

Eight drone docks were launched live, with dock demos from Heisha, Hive, CounterDrone, IDIPLOYER, Hextronics, ADPM and Volatus. DJI Enterprise, Aerodyne and Iris Automation shared a stage for the first time, and the community nearly doubled.

“Early impressions of NestGen ’23 are very positive, the quality of the presenters is exceptional. I found the DJI discussion on automation cost savings around solar farms particularly interesting. I will be tuning in to many more presentations.”
