The year the drone-in-a-box conversation started.
NestGen ’22 gave drone autonomy its first global stage: a day of talks, panels and live product demos, all online, across five content tracks: applications, tech, industry, regulations and the Demo Arena.
Three drone docks were revealed to the world for the first time, live on stage. Hextronics, IDIPLOYER, CounterDrone, DRONETEAM and Airscort showed their hardware in the Demo Arena, and regulators and operators argued over how to balance safety with flights beyond visual line of sight.
