Newbie question: our shifts change at 6 and there's often a patrol mid-air. How do you hand over without someone missing something?

Short answer: don't hand over mid-air if you can help it. We moved the patrol start times so 6 pm falls between flights.

When you can't avoid it, we do a spoken read-back: battery, position, what the mission is for, any open alerts. The incoming pilot repeats it back, and only then takes control. Both names go in the ops chat with the time.
