## About this session

Luxury retail and manufacturing sites carry a different security bar: response has to be fast and discreet, and many facilities can't allow connected security systems onto their networks at all. Air-gapped docked drones are becoming part of how enterprise security teams close that gap without compromising on isolation requirements.

In this NestGen session, Groupe Protec will share how they automated on-site security response for Chanel using fully air-gapped docked drones, and what enterprise security teams should think through when deploying autonomous drone response in high-compliance, network-isolated environments.

**[0:01]** Uh welcome to NestGen. Uh so yeah hello everyone and welcome to NestGen. I'm Atar uh sol engineer here at FlytBase and uh I'll be your moderator for this session. Uh quickly two house rules before we start. Uh so this session is recorded and will be available afterward on NestGen's YouTube channel. Uh if you have a question for our speaker, please post it in the Q&A tab anytime during the session and we'll have a dedicated Q&A uh at the end to get through them. Now um picture one of the most recognizable names in luxury with a site that has to stay secure around the clock. The challenge is not unique unique to them. It's every high value facility out there. How do you cover a large perimeter, respond to an alert in seconds and do it without simply adding more guards to patrol in the dark? Uh our

**[1:06]** next session is like this session is this session is the real answer to that question. Uh and it is actually deployed in the field running today. Uh and it's the story of how group protect uh one of France's um security specialists they have brought autonomous drone security to a Chanel site. A drone that patrols the perimeter on its own responds the moment an alert comes in returns to the dock ready for the next mission. No pilot on site required and you know everything runs on premise inside their network. U it's a great look at what it actually takes to put out autonomous security uh to work at a demanding customer uh the problem the solution and the impact on the ground. And here to take us through it uh is the person who led that deployment entirely. Uh

**[2:09]** director general of protect security systems. Please give a warm welcome to Philip Gabit security. system on New Zealand. Dr. group protect the surveillance

**[3:32]** drone. group. CPSS system technology. The system once Foreist.

**[4:55]** You can next please. Pyramid security system. Possibility.

**[6:05]** Security. >> [snorts] >> Don't experiment. system. service. Inspection

**[7:06]** inspection. But vulnerable system. Federal to

**[12:02]** etc. operator. The The pleasant operator.

**[13:09]** Fore detection. Got it. Uh thanks a lot, Phillip. Uh there are a few questions uh that we would like to uh you know get in front of your screen. Uh just give me a second.

**[14:12]** Just give it.

**[15:24]** Perfect. So, Philip, uh I hope you are able to see uh the questions in uh French as well. Uh just give me a second. Stop. If you want that I have a tradictor uh I can try it if it's u more easy for you. No. >> Yes. So we have already brought up the questions

**[16:25]** on um uh you know uh on the screen for you and uh let me also share the translator screen for our audience. for we uh I wait perhaps you you put the tractor. Yes. Okay. local system

**[17:34]** on solit outside maintenance necess customers uh you prefer uh pure on-premise systems over uh you know cloud systems. What are some of those key pointers that you would like to share that where their preference is onremise systems? Hello. Vulnerability security.

**[18:53]** local multi- Please surveillance.

**[19:55]** Got it. And uh since we are you know talking about um uh the maintenance part obviously the hardest uh you know one of the hard hardest discussion is how does the maintenance window look like? Let it be hardware or let it be the software that's running the hardware. How often does a technician need to physically visit the site since it's a completely you know remote you know on premise system

**[21:05]** Active [snorts] system. The ticketing ticket system. Got it. Uh and we have uh you know a few more question uh questions where you know one of them being uh you know what are those physical and network requirements that the customer had to meet before you went live. uh because obviously they had their own network but uh you know since the dock and the drone is going to live permanently on the site what

**[22:09]** are those physical and network requirements that they had to do launch for example.

**[23:39]** Got it. Got it. Thanks a lot, Philip for that answer. And uh since you know Flight Base uh is talking about scale, the entire drone industry right now is talking about scale. Even you yourself are talking about scale. So let us say to scale the on-premise model what is that one repeatable thing for that you uh you know had as a learning from this deployment or let us say in from onremises deployment in general. What is that one repeatable nuance that you would like to you know repeat in every deployment so that it can scale at a larger level? >> [snorts]

**[24:42]** >> experience effective. Correct. Got it. Thanks a lot uh Phillip uh for all of those um you know words of wisdom and uh what like what you have been doing in the world of on-remise deployment is actually really inspirational for not only the drone industry but also for uh for but also for myself honestly and hearing how you brought

**[25:47]** you know autonomous drone security to a live Chanel site deployed it and you're keeping it running today. No pilot on like no physical pilot on the ground is exactly the kind of real world proof uh this industry needs to see. Um thank you thanks a lot for you know joining this on this session and thank you to everyone who joined us for this session and we are so glad that you were able to make it. you you were you were here. And uh one quick thing before we go is that if anything again sparked a takeaway uh that you would want to share, please uh post it on LinkedIn or Twitter with # NestGen and make sure that we have sorry uh I I see that uh that is a question um with um maintenance update. is okay.

**[26:48]** >> Yes. >> Just free three second. >> Yes. Yes. >> Uh, can you put the tractor again? >> Yes. Yes. Doing it. Just a second.

**[27:56]** Perfect. Philip. Uh, >> okay. >> You are Fore maintair. Got it. Got it. So that makes uh the entire process a little more streamlined not only for the like not only for the customer but yourself as well.

**[29:00]** >> Great. >> Thank you. Thanks a lot Phillip for the session. It was actually a great session. We got to learn a lot as well. I'm sure that our audience got to learn a lot as well. Uh thanks a lot. It is always a pleasure sharing the stage with you. Uh see you in the next one. >> Me too and have a good day at all. You do. You do.
